みゆき野映画祭にご参加のみなさん、こんにちは。
私は、駐日デンマーク王国大使、ピーター・タクソ-イェンセンです。コロナ禍の中、不安な日々をお過ごしかと思いますが、心よりお見舞い申し上げますと共に支援の気持ちをここに伝えさせていただきます。
このような年において、今年の映画祭を開催することができたのは、皆さんが粘り強く協力してきた証です。すべての人々、特に若者にとって、この危機の中で何を達成し、どのような喜び・成功で元気づけられるのかを体験することは大切なことです。私もまた皆さんの努力に大変心を動かされました。
2009年から毎年、みゆき野映画祭は、日本と北欧諸国の若者を近づけてきました。
今年の映画祭は、参加した映画監督や観客の皆さんから、これまで以上に歓迎されるのではないでしょうか。今起こっている世の中の問題を忘れて、遠い国のクリエイティブな人々作った世界で想像力や驚嘆の念を満たすことができます。このような普遍的な物語は誰もが楽しむことができるものです。映画祭とのコラボレーションにおいて実りの多いものになることを嬉しく思っています。Vigga、 Katinka、Laura、Tianが作り上げた4本の映画を皆さんも楽しんでいただけると思います。
今年の映画祭を思いきり楽しんでください。

Good evening to you, Miyukino Snowtheater International Film Festival. My name is Peter Taksøe-Jensen and I am the Danish Ambassador to Japan. It is my pleasure to send you all my warmest regards and thoughts of support in these uncertain times. It is a testament to all of you that even in a year like this, you have been able to create this year’s festival through persistence and cooperation. It is important for everyone, especially young people, to experience what can be achieved and which joys should encouraged even in a time of crisis, and for accomplishing that, I am very much encouraged by your hard work.
Every year since 2009 the Miyukino Snowtheater Film Festival has brought the children and young adults of Japan and the Nordic countries closer together. I am certain that this year’s festival will be welcomed even more so than usual by the audience and the participating directors. For a few moments we can forget the troubles of the world around us and let our imagination and sense of wonder be filled up by creative people from far away countries. Stories like these are universal and are free for everyone to enjoy. I am glad to see that the collaboration with The Next Film Festival have been fruitful and I have no doubt that you will all enjoy the four wonderful films by Vigga, Katinka, Laura and Tian. Please enjoy this year’s festival, thank you very much!
